Where mainline meets Main Street, the Combination Depot stands as a symbol of railroad power and technology. From his bay-window office in the center of the building, the agent reigns supreme as he answers the telegraph or loads the US Mail. One the other side is the public waiting room, where dark wood walls, iron benches and colorful travel posters are guarded by a huge coal stove. On the far end stands the freight room, where almost anything that can't be mined, manufactured or grown locally is delivered by the trains.

Generations of small-town Americans were served by these combination depots, so called because they "combined" three operations under one roof. By the 1880s, railroads large and small were building new depots like this in smaller towns. Using standard plans which specified the same materials, trim and paint not only saved time and money, it made the railroad and its buildings instantly recognizable in every town.

Now you can capture the magic for your own railroad with the all-new Cornerstone Series(R) Built-Up Combination Depot. Patterned after similar buildings still found from coast-to-coast, it looks great in the days of steam, or alongside today's modern diesels. Fully assembled and ready to use on your layout, the Golden Valley Depot is molded in the same colors as the Trackside Built-ups (933-2700 Series) so you can easily create a small town scene on your O Scale railroad.

• LOCOMOTIVE SPECIAL CONDITIONS: This unit has an odometer and an hour meter on it for return both the odometer and the hour meter must read zero.
• For MTH items If the unit is run then normal factory warranty would apply and MTH would directly handle any warranty issues.
• On New power units Factory Warrantees apply and are handled directly by the manufacturer under the terms of their warranty agreement.

SHIPPING: SHIPPING is done Monday thru Friday normally within 1 day of receiving payment. Sometime a delay does occur due to weather or the commercial carriers we use to deliver the packages. All customers receive an email notifying they of the scheduled delivery date at the time of shipping along with the tracking number of the package.
