When the train passes a Detector (sold separately) it activates

the SOUND Module

Sound Module can operate independantly

with the either Version of the Track Detection or the Grade Crossing Pro

by using the Grade Crossing Pro to Activate the Light & Sound Circuit if you wish to piggyback on these detectors on your layout

Use the photocell (4 included) version if you have consistent overhead

lighting (i.e. you don't have "night time" on your layout!).

SYSTEM OPERATION

An HQ sound module is a circuit board that consists of a voltage regulator, a sound chip, with build in amplifier, a volume control, and terminal strips.
These modules have a maximum play time of 60 seconds depending on the scenario programmed into them, and can be played one time, or continuous looping until turned off.

Solid State Design

Crossing Signals (sold separately) {Crossing Signals listed in our store can be animated using this control system}

Other brands of signals may require modification or adaptation for the control system to operate them.

Can be connected to the Grade Crossing Pro controllers (sold separately) for automatic activation and operation when the train activated the Grade Crossing Controller (sold separately)

• LOCOMOTIVE SPECIAL CONDITIONS: This unit has an odometer and an hour meter on it for return both the odometer and the hour meter must read zero.
• For MTH items If the unit is run then normal factory warranty would apply and MTH would directly handle any warranty issues.
• On New power units Factory Warrantees apply and are handled directly by the manufacturer under the terms of their warranty agreement.

SHIPPING: SHIPPING is done Monday thru Friday normally within 1 day of receiving payment. Sometime a delay does occur due to weather or the commercial carriers we use to deliver the packages. All customers receive an email notifying them of the scheduled delivery date at the time of shipping along with the tracking number of the package.

FREE SHIPPING: FREE SHIPPING ONLY applies to packages shipped domestically within the continental United States. Shipping outside the 48 states pay quoted shipping costs.
